2 Part Oat Straw
1 Part Ginkgo
Suggested Total Serving Size is:
1/4 to 1 teaspoon 2-3 times daily
Panax Ginseng is native to Eastern Asia and is said to have stimulating and life prolonging effects on many parts of the body. Harvesting should be postponed until the plant is 5 or more years old and is said to be more effective in people over 40. Older plants for older folks could be the harvesting mantra.
Oatstraw has a wide variety of uses from food to calming bath. The calming qualities of oatstraw might seem a bit at odds with one of its other uses; that of a performance enhancer for men, but Oatstraw is pretty good at both.
Ginkgo trees are currently only native to China but have been naturalized back into North America. The trees are very hardy and can live up to 1000 years. Ginkgo grow in rich, well-drained soil and like full sun. Younger trees tend to be slender while older ones develop a large crown. It has irregular branches and produces a fan-shaped dark green leaf. The leaves turn a bright yellow in the fall and depart from the tree within a short time after changing color. Internally, Ginkgo helps support cerebral blood flow. Externally, it’s supportive of skin injuries.
